The Eisenhower Priority Matrix or simply the “Priority Matrix” - helps you solve issues and prioritize them.
The Eisenhower principle allows you to combine two criteria - it is important and urgent, thus, four classes of priorities are obtained. For successful planning, you need to analyze and classify all your tasks. And then you will have a hierarchical list, thanks to which you will know what, when, and how to do it.
Urgent and important - issues that should be done immediately.
Important, but not urgent - issues that you need to plan to do later.
Urgent, but not important - issues that are best delegated to someone else.
Neither urgent nor important - issues that you better not complete at all.
The great thing about this matrix is that it can be used for large-scale productivity improvement tasks - “How should my team do the project during this quarter?” And for small daily plans, “What should I do right now?”
